Delivery and Shipping Policy
This Delivery and Shipping Policy explains how SEAMWELL processes and delivers orders, the destinations we currently serve and what customers should do if a delivery problem occurs.
1. Delivery destinations
SEAMWELL currently delivers orders to:
-
the United Kingdom; and
-
the United States.
The United States is currently the only international destination served by SEAMWELL outside the United Kingdom.
Available delivery services may vary according to the destination, product availability and carrier coverage. The options displayed at checkout will apply to your order.
2. Order processing
Orders are normally processed and dispatched within 1–3 business days after payment has been successfully authorised.
Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding UK bank holidays.
Orders placed during weekends, bank holidays, promotional campaigns or periods of particularly high demand may require additional processing time.
Processing time is separate from the estimated delivery time. Delivery estimates normally begin when the parcel has been dispatched.
If a product becomes unavailable or another issue prevents us from dispatching your order, we will contact you using the information provided during checkout.
3. Delivery within the United Kingdom
We currently offer the following services for eligible UK orders:
Standard Delivery
-
Estimated delivery time after dispatch: 3–10 business days
-
Cost: Free
Express Delivery
-
Estimated delivery time after dispatch: 1–7 business days
-

Delivery timeframes are estimates and are not guaranteed dates unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing.
4. Delivery to the United States
We currently offer the following services for eligible orders delivered to the United States:
Standard Shipping
-
Estimated delivery time after dispatch: Displayed at checkout
-
Cost: Free
Express Shipping
-
Estimated delivery time after dispatch: Displayed at checkout
-
Cost: £4.97 per order
International delivery times may vary according to the destination, carrier network and customs-clearance process. The most relevant estimate available will be displayed at checkout or included in the dispatch confirmation.
5. Delivery timeframes
We make reasonable efforts to dispatch and deliver orders within the timeframes communicated to customers.
Delivery may be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including:
-
severe weather;
-
customs inspections;
-
transport disruption;
-
public holidays;
-
industrial action;
-
periods of unusually high demand;
-
carrier network delays;
-
incomplete or incorrect delivery information.
Unless a different delivery period has been agreed with you, UK consumer law generally requires goods to be delivered without undue delay and within 30 days after the contract is formed.
If delivery by a particular date is essential, contact us before placing your order so that we can confirm whether the requested date can be met.
6. Delivery addresses
You are responsible for checking that your delivery address is complete and correct before submitting an order.
If you notice an error, contact us immediately at ____________________. Include your order number and the complete, corrected address.
We will make reasonable efforts to update the address if the order has not been processed or dispatched. However, we cannot guarantee that changes will be possible after an order has been submitted.
Where permitted by law, reasonable additional costs caused by an incorrect or incomplete address may be charged to the customer. These may include carrier correction fees, return-to-sender charges or redelivery costs.
For security and customs reasons, we may be unable to redirect an order to another country after it has been placed.
7. Dispatch confirmation and tracking
When tracking is available, we will send tracking details after your order has been dispatched.
Tracking information may not update immediately. The carrier may require additional time to scan the parcel into its network or record movement between delivery locations.
Receiving a dispatch confirmation does not guarantee that tracking events will appear on the same day.
8. Responsibility for the goods
For consumer orders, the goods remain the responsibility of SEAMWELL until they are physically received by:
-
you; or
-
another person identified by you to receive the delivery.
Different rules may apply if you independently arrange delivery using a carrier that was not offered by SEAMWELL.
Purchasing express delivery is not required to receive this legal protection and does not affect your statutory consumer rights.
A tracking update showing that a parcel has been delivered does not prevent you from contacting us if you have not received it.
Before opening a carrier investigation, we may ask you to check with members of your household, neighbours, reception areas, collection points or any safe place expressly authorised by you.
9. Delivery attempts and uncollected parcels
Depending on the carrier and your delivery preferences, a parcel may be:
-
delivered to the address provided;
-
left in a safe place expressly authorised by you;
-
delivered to a neighbour or reception area authorised to accept it;
-
redirected to a carrier collection point;
-
presented for another delivery attempt;
-
returned to us if delivery cannot be completed.
You are responsible for following any collection or redelivery instructions provided by the carrier.
If a parcel is returned because it was not collected, the delivery address was incorrect or delivery was repeatedly refused, contact us to discuss the available options.
Reasonable redelivery costs may apply where the failed delivery resulted from circumstances within the customer’s control and where charging those costs is permitted by law.
10. Customs, duties and international taxes
International orders may be subject to customs inspections, import duties, local taxes, brokerage fees or handling charges imposed by authorities or service providers in the destination country.
Unless checkout expressly states that these charges are included, they are the responsibility of the recipient.
SEAMWELL does not control:
-
the amount charged by customs or local authorities;
-
how long customs clearance will take;
-
whether additional information or documentation will be requested.
Refusing a parcel or failing to pay customs charges does not automatically cancel an order.
If the parcel is returned to us, any refund will be assessed after the goods are received and in accordance with our Returns and Refunds Policy and applicable law.
11. Delayed deliveries
If your order has not arrived within the estimated timeframe:
-
review the latest tracking information;
-
check the delivery estimate in your dispatch confirmation;
-
review any carrier notices concerning disruption or customs processing;
-
contact us at ____________________ if you still require assistance.
Include your full name, order number and delivery postcode or ZIP code so that we can investigate the shipment.
Estimated delivery dates do not remove any rights you may have when goods are not delivered within an agreed or legally required timeframe.
12. Parcels that appear lost
If tracking has stopped updating or your parcel appears to be lost, contact us at ____________________.
We may need to open an investigation with the carrier before confirming the appropriate resolution. Carrier investigations may require a reasonable amount of time, but they do not limit or delay your statutory rights.
If a parcel is confirmed as lost, we will provide an appropriate remedy. Depending on the circumstances and product availability, this may be a replacement or a refund.
13. Damaged parcels or products
If a parcel or product arrives damaged, contact us as soon as reasonably possible.
Please provide:
-
your order number;
-
a description of the damage;
-
photographs of the affected product;
-
photographs of the internal and external packaging, where practical;
-
an image of the shipping label, if requested.
This information helps us assess the problem and raise a claim with the carrier. A request for photographs does not limit your statutory consumer rights.
Keep the damaged product and its packaging until we confirm whether they are required for inspection or return.
14. Missing or incorrect items
Please check the contents of your order shortly after delivery.
If an item is missing or you receive the wrong product, contact us at ____________________ and provide your order number and details of the problem.
We will review the order and arrange an appropriate resolution. Depending on the circumstances, this may include sending the correct item, replacing a missing product or issuing a refund.
15. Returns
This policy relates to the processing and delivery of orders. Cancellations, product returns and refunds are governed by our Returns and Refunds Policy.
Our registered office is not a returns address.
Do not send products to our registered office. Before returning an item, contact us at ____________________ to obtain the correct return address and instructions.
Sending a return to an address that has not been provided for that purpose may delay its receipt and processing. This does not affect your statutory rights.
